Our Policy

In order for everyone to get the very most out of their experience with Ananda Wellness, we ask that you please familiarize yourself with our policies. 

EVENTS, WORKSHOPS, COURSES & PROGRAMS

  • All Ananda Wellness offerings accept prior booking and payment online or via eft.
  • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable – unless otherwise stated or agreed upon in writing.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. No refunds will be given for lowered prices, the same as we will not ask you to pay more for an increased price after your payment is received.  
  • Events, workshops, courses, programs, must be cancelled with a minimum of 14 (fourteen) days written notice given via email prior to their first start date, to receive a credit towards future events workshops, courses, or programs. No bank transfer, cash or any sort of refund or credit will be granted for any reason after the 14 (fourteen) days period have lapsed. Unfortunately, regardless of the reason for cancellation, no exceptions will be made.
  • Where a credit is agreed upon and granted for cancellation within the required period given above towards future events, workshops, courses, or programs, it is to be noted that this credit is only valid for a period of 2 (two) months, whereafter the credit and the fees within the credit expire.
  • All events, workshops, courses, programs that require a deposit, is non-refundable. Even if cancelled within the minimum time-period mentioned above.

 

RETREATS

  • All Ananda Wellness Retreats, including those as co-host require prior booking and payment online or via eft.
  • All Retreats and co-hosted retreat payments are non-refundable and non-transferable – unless otherwise stated or agreed upon in writing.
  • All Retreats and co-hosted retreats that require a deposit, is non-refundable. Even if cancelled within the minimum time-period mentioned.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. No refunds given for lowered prices, the same as we will not ask you to pay more for an increased price after your payment is received.   
  • Retreats or co-hosted retreats must be cancelled with a minimum of 30 (thirty) days written notice given via email prior to the start date of the retreat or co-hosted retreat date to qualify for a 50% refund of the total amount paid by you, this refund will exclude the non-refundable deposit paid. No refunds, credits or transfers will be granted for any reason whatsoever after the 30 (thirty) days minimum period has lapsed. Unfortunately, regardless of the reason for cancellation,  no exceptions will be made.
  • All cancellations approved that require refunds will be charged an additional refund administration fee of 5% of the total refund amount, this 5% will be deducted automatically and prior to any payment refunded and cannot be paid separately.

 

CLASSES

  • No monthly class membership fees, drop-in class fees or credits (catchups) are transferable towards any events, workshops, courses, programs, retreats, or co-hosted retreats.
  • Please see the full policy on group classes and monthly memberships in the tab below.
  • All monthly memberships, drop-in classes for group classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Even if cancelled within the minimum time-period given. You sign up for a minimum period and this will have to be honoured.
  • Online payment for classes must be received prior to any scheduled class date to ensure your space – again please see group class cancellation & no-show policies in the tab below.
  • The cancellation, late cancellation and no-show policy applies to all memberships, drop-in and manually booked classes.
  • If you decide you cannot join the monthly membership for a certain month and would like your “mat” space to be kept for you to join in the following month or months thereafter you will be charged a R300.00 (three hundred rand) “mat” space fee per month for me to hold and secure you space in the classes. This is to be paid on or before the 7th of the specific month where space is held for you. If this “mat” space fee is not paid your “mat” space is forfeited and your place will be given to someone else on the waitlist to join the monthly group classes.
  • Please do not ask us to break this golden rule, it is in place to ensure that all members have a positive experience and to deter consistent no shows and late cancellations.
  • Month to month memberships can be cancelled by emailing us on info@anandawellnessbliss.com
  • Membership fees must be paid irrespective of whether the member has used the facilities or not.
  • All memberships, drop-in or manually booked classes must be used within the expiry date provided.
  • Classes may be cancelled by Ananda Wellness management, teachers may be substituted or removed, class times may be altered or the days on which they operate may change. No refunds are given because of timetable changes – please see group class cancellation & no-show policy in the tab below for more details.
  • Private classes, Semi-Private classes, and any Specialised Offering: see separate policy below.

YOGA GROUP CLASSES & MEMBERSHIPS

Purchasing of yoga memberships is available starting 5 /7 days in advance and leading up to a new month and up to 3 hours before a class starts (space dependent). If you purchase a monthly membership you need to book your class dates in advance for the month ahead, this will guarantee that your space is kept in the class for the month. Monthly memberships and class bookings are required for all classes, no drop in’s will be permitted – unless pre-arranged, pre-booked, paid and space is available.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to attend any of your monthly pre-registered yoga classes and need to cancel or re-schedule, please make these cancellations and changes no later than 8 (eight) hours or earlier prior to the start of your scheduled / booked class, this qualifies you to re-schedule your class as a “catch-up” in another class day / time (space dependant). Doing this also allows someone who is waitlisted to be confirmed in the class, or class re-arrangements can be made, CLASS SPACES ARE PRECIOUS, SO IS THE TEACHER’S TIME. Monthly Memberships are valid for a period of one month (the month you have paid for), any classes cancelled that qualify for a catch-up must be caught-up on or before the end of the current calendar month, no catch-up classes will be carried over into a new month and no credits or refunds will be given. Cancellations or Re-Scheduling of classes are to be done via our mobile class booking app (Simply Book Me) or email / What’s App/SMS message. Should you cancel any of your pre-registered yoga classes after the 8 (eight) hour window period you unfortunately forfeit the opportunity for a “catch-up” classPLEASE NOTE – you will still be charged for the class and no refunds or credits will be given or held.

LATE CANCELLATIONS, NO-SHOW & DROP-IN POLICY

Any pre-registered monthly membership classes that are cancelled after the 8 (eight) hour window period mentioned above are known as “late cancellations”. Late Cancellations result in your class fee being forfeited and no catch-up class, credit or refund will be granted. Your commitment to your monthly membership purchased is precious to your teacher and should be seen as precious to yourself too. If you are running late for any of your classes booked, please inform the teacher ahead of time. We kindly request that you be courteous and as silent as possible when entering the studio or class sessions late, to not disturb or disrupt the class in progress. Drop-In classes that are pre-arranged, pre-booked, and paid do not qualify for a refund, credit or catch-up, cancellations of these drop-in classes mean you forfeit your space, and monies paid.

Failing to “cancel or late-cancel” your class will result in a “No Show” and your full class fee will be forfeited. No credits, refunds or catch-up classes will be given. If something beyond your control happens, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know via email or WhatsApp or sms message, and we can discuss the options available, to the teacher’s discretion of whether there is a possibility for a catch-up to be granted. No guarantees, and unfortunately no class fee refunds.

CANCELLATION OF MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS

If you decide you cannot join the monthly membership for a certain month and would like your “mat” space to be kept for you to join in the following month or months thereafter you will be charged a R300.00 (three hundred rand) “mat” space fee per month for me to hold and secure you space in the classes. This is to be paid on or before the 7th of the specific month where space is held for you. If this “mat” space fee is not paid your “mat” space is forfeited and your place will be given to someone else on the waitlist to join the monthly group classes.

If you need to cancel your entire monthly membership and would not like me to hold your “mat” space for you, we require that you do so within 7 (seven) days from the date of your monthly membership purchase by giving written notice via email of the cancellation. Monthly memberships cancelled within the 7 (seven) day period qualifies a credit of the fees paid by means of future yoga classes, no eft or cash refunds will be made, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The future class monthly membership credit is valid for a period of 2 (two) months whereafter it will automatically expire, and the credit is forfeited.

ANANDA WELLNESS CANCELLATIONS

Should, Ananda Wellness cancel any classes, every endeavour will be made for all students pre-registered with a monthly membership in that class to have the opportunity to catch up the cancelled class within one calendar month from the date of the cancellation. This catch-up does and will not form part of your current or future monthly membership as a credit or discount on future fees, it is an additional catch-up class granted in return for our cancellation. Just as we try our best to be flexible and reasonable we ask that you grant the same for us in return. Should you not be able to attend the catch-up class within one calendar month from date of this cancellation, the catch-up class and the class fees are unfortunately forfeited.

  • All Private, Semi-private and Specialised Offering classes or sessions are booked and paid for in advance to secure your time slot.
  • All payments are to be made via eft prior to the start date of your first pre-booked class or session.
  • Private, Semi-Private and Specialised Offering classes or sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Even if cancelled within the time frame given.
  • If you are unable to attend any one of your pre-booked private, semi-private or specialised offering classes or sessions we request that you please cancel your session no later than 24hrs (one day) prior to the start time of the class or session booked.
  • Any cancellation made within the 24 (twenty-four) hour time frame qualifies for the class or session to be re-scheduled to another day within the same calendar month, provided the teacher / practitioner is available. No guarantees.
  • Cancellations are to be done via email / what’s app / sms message.
  • Failure to cancel timeously will result in a forfeit of the cancelled session fee and no re-scheduling will be permitted.
  • No refunds on classes / sessions fees will be made, and we will not carry over any credits or fees into a new month.
  • If you need to cancel your entire pre-booked package or all the booked classes / sessions, we request that you please do this with written notice via email 7 (seven) days prior to the start day and time of your first pre-booked class / session.
  • You will be credited the full package fee by means of future classes / sessions, no cash or EFT refunds will be made. This credit is valid for a period of 2 (two) months whereafter the credit and fees within the credit expire.
  • If you do not cancel timeously, you will forfeit your entire package fee, and no credits will be made available for the future.
  • No private, semi-private or specialised class /session fees, or credits are transferable towards any events, workshops, courses, programs, retreats, or co-hosted retreats offered by Ananda Wellness.

 

LATE CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW

  • Any private, semi-private and specialised class or sessions that are cancelled after the 24 (twenty-four) hour window period mentioned above are known as “late cancellations”. Late Cancellations result in your class or session fee being forfeited and no catch-up class, credit or refund will be granted – PLEASE NOTE – You will still be charged for the session and again no refund or credits will be given or held. Your commitment to your class or session purchased is precious to your teacher and should be seen as precious to yourself too.
  • If you are running late for any of your classes / sessions booked, please inform the teacher ahead of time. Their time and the booked session after yours are valuable, please respect this.
  • Should you be running 15 (fifteen) minutes or later after the class / session timeslot has begun, you class or session will automatically be cancelled, and you will forfeit the fees.
  • The time slot allocated to your session will remain the same if it proceeds, even if you arrive late (before the 15-minute cut-off mentioned above).
  • Once off or Drop-In classes / sessions that are pre-arranged, pre-booked, and paid do not qualify for a refund, credit or to be re-scheduled – cancellations of these drop-in classes mean you forfeit your space, and monies paid.

 

Failing to “cancel or late-cancel” your class / session will result in a “No Show” and your fees will be forfeited. No credits, refunds or re-schedules will be given. ANANDA WELLNESS CANCELLATIONS

Should, Ananda Wellness need to cancel any private, semi-private or specialised class or session, every endeavour will be made for the session to be re-scheduled to another day and or time within one calendar month from the date of cancellation. This re-scheduled class / session does and will not form part of a credit or discount on future bookings or fees paid. Just as we try our best to be flexible and reasonable we ask that you grant the same for us in return. Should you not be able to attend the re-scheduled class / session within one calendar month from the date of this cancellation, the re-scheduled class / session and the fees will unfortunately be forfeited.

At Ananda Wellness, we are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. In the event that you need to initiate a refund or a return, please read the return policy and follow the steps outlined below to guarantee a smooth and efficient process:

  • Returned merchandise or products (excluding used or opened products/packaging), will be fully refunded via original payment method, if returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt.
  • Your right to cancel an order ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. If you wish to cancel your order, you must return the items within 14 days of the cancellation.
  • Items received after this time will be refused and sent back to you. After the 14 days have lapsed, no refunds will be made on any products.
  • If you took advantage of a promotion with free items, those must also be returned. Failure to return free items will result in charges for the items received.
  • You are responsible for the safe return of products, including the shipping / courier cost. It is recommended to insure your return parcel in case of loss or damage.
  • Downloadable products, such as our eBooks cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

My Order Never Arrived: We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check your email confirmation for the tracking number and tracking link. If that doesn’t work, send us an email with your details and confirmation number.

My Order Is Wrong or Damaged: Take a deep breath. Visit your happy place. Now, send us an email with your order details and tell us what’s wrong. We’ll work on fixing this right away!

Do You Ship Nationwide? Yes, we do. We ship to all major cities and outlying areas in South Africa. Deliveries to major cities can take up to 5 business days, and deliveries to outlying areas can take up to 7 business days.

Return Process:

1. Initiating the Return: Please send us and email with the detailed information and photos about the items / products you will be returning to info@anandwellnessbliss.com

2. Packaging and Labelling: Carefully pack the items in their original packaging, ensuring they are securely sealed.

3. Courier Collection: The responsibility for the courier cost and the safe return of the parcel to our depot rests with the customer. Please arrange for a reputable courier service to send the package to the following address:

4. Verification and Refund Initiation: Upon receiving the returned items at our facility, our team will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure they are undamaged, and all components are present. Following this verification process, we will notify you of the outcome and promptly begin to initiate the refund. Rest assured that your refund will be processed as swiftly as possible once all verification steps are completed.
